Getting Started with MegaFi

A quick guide to begin using MegaFi on MegaETH. This section walks you through wallet setup, network configuration, and your first transactions on the fastest DeFi platform.

What You'll Need​

Before using MegaFi, prepare the following:

Wallet: Any EVM-compatible wallet. MetaMask, Rainbow, WalletConnect, or Coinbase Wallet all work seamlessly with MegaFi.

MegaETH Network: Add the MegaETH network to your wallet. This takes under 30 seconds using our automatic setup.

Assets on MegaETH: Bridge tokens from Ethereum mainnet or other chains to MegaETH. Native bridging takes 5-15 minutes depending on source chain.

Gas Tokens: Keep a small amount of $MEGA tokens for gas. Transaction costs average under $0.005, so even $1 worth provides hundreds of transactions.

Setup Steps​

1. Connect Your Wallet​

Visit megafi.app and click "Connect Wallet". Select your wallet provider from the list. Approve the connection request in your wallet.

2. Add MegaETH Network​

After connecting, MegaFi will prompt you to add the MegaETH network if it's not already configured. Click "Add Network" and approve in your wallet. The network configuration is added automatically.

3. Bridge Assets​

Click "Bridge" in the top navigation. Select your source chain (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, or Optimism) and the token you want to bridge. Enter the amount and confirm. Assets arrive on MegaETH in 5-15 minutes.

4. Make Your First Swap​

Navigate to "Swap". Select the tokens you want to trade. Enter the amount. Review the quote (zero price impact on most pairs). Click "Swap" and confirm. Transaction completes in under 50 milliseconds.

Quick Actions​

Once set up, you can immediately:

Swap Tokens: Trade any supported token pair with instant execution and minimal slippage.

Provide Liquidity: Deposit tokens into Pools to earn trading fees. Choose your Tick for custom capital efficiency.

Deploy Strategies: Activate automated Strategy Modes that rebalance your liquidity positions continuously.

Hedge Positions: Open options positions through Hedge to protect against price movements.

Performance Expectations​

MegaFi on MegaETH delivers performance unmatched by any other DeFi platform:

MegaFi provides three ways to interact with the protocol:

Web Application: Full-featured interface at megafi.app. Works on desktop and mobile browsers.

Common First-Time Questions​

Why do I need to add a network?
MegaETH is a separate Layer 2 chain. Your wallet needs the network configuration to connect.

How long does bridging take?
5-15 minutes from Ethereum mainnet, 3-8 minutes from other L2s. The bridge ensures secure asset transfer.

What's the minimum I need to start?
No minimum deposit or balance required. Even $10 worth of tokens is enough to begin swapping and exploring features.

Are my funds at risk?
All DeFi protocols involve risk. MegaFi smart contracts are in development and have not yet been audited. Current deployments are for testing purposes only. Users should understand DeFi risks before depositing funds.
